DSS Board and Investment Committee

The Social Security Act provides for the appointment of a Board of Directors who shall be responsible for administering the Social Security Fund. The Board must be constituted of not less than five persons - one of whom shall be the Director, and four other persons; from among whom shall be persons having knowledge in Law, Social Science, Business Management, Industrial Relations, Local Government, Accounting and Finance.


The current members of the Social Security Board of Directors are:

The Social Security Act also provides for the appointment by the Board of other Committees as it may think fit. In this regard, the following sub-committees have been appointed: the Human Resource Committee, the Claims Review Committee, the Finance & Audit Committee, the Actuarial/Public Relations Committee, and the Compliance Committee.
